Akdeniz Belediyeler Birliği

The official website and content management panel for the Union of Mediterranean Municipalities were built from scratch. As a public institution, deployment and maintenance conditions shaped the work from the start: files are uploaded to the server as they are, with no installation tooling required.

No framework was used. The site is written in plain PHP with pure CSS and JavaScript; there is no build step and nothing is pulled from outside. The three libraries it uses are vendored inside the project. This was a decision made so the institution can keep the site running on its own terms years from now.

A page-turning reader was developed for publications: magazines, presentations and supplements open in the browser like a real book, with no need to download a PDF.

The invisible half was delivered too: a written design system, a panel handbook for staff, installation and release documentation, database ownership notes and a go-live checklist — eight guides in total.
